The color is often white or light yellowish white, grayish white, sometimes with a red hue, and the ceramic magnesite is mostly snow white. Some variants have a sticky tongue. Glass luster. Hardness 4 - 4.5. Crisp. The proportion is 2.9-3.1, and the proportion of iron-bearers increases. It is colorless under the transmitted light of the microscope. It has high fire resistance, adhesion and the like.
